External Display Touchpad Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Xignal handles information in the Android application “External Display Touchpad” (the “App”). The App provides touchpad controls for an external display.
1. Information We Collect and Transmit
The App does not collect, store, share, or transmit personal information, usage data, device identifiers, location information, contacts, photos, audio, advertising identifiers, crash logs, analytics data, or any other user data. It does not use accounts, advertising, analytics SDKs, or third-party SDKs.
2. On-device Information and Permissions
The App uses the Android Accessibility Service to provide touchpad controls on an external display. It performs taps, long presses, drags, and scrolling, and reads external-display window information on-device to keep launched app windows appropriately sized. This information is processed only on the device for these features and is not collected, stored, or transmitted externally.
- Accessibility Service: touchpad actions and external-display window-state access
- Notifications: to show external-display monitoring status when permission is granted
- Foreground service: to monitor external-display connection status
3. Internet Access and Third-party Sharing
The App does not request Internet permission and does not make network connections, serve ads, perform analytics, track users, or provide data to third parties. Accordingly, it does not share or sell user data.
4. Children’s Privacy
The App does not collect personal information from users of any age.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy if the App’s features or applicable law changes. The updated policy takes effect when it is posted on this page.
